Phil Spence is a singer, songwriter and recording artist. He began performing in cafes as a tertiary student. After a couple of years of recording he released his first album and twice toured the east coast of Queensland playing tracks from the album. Phil and his band also supported international acts such as Randy Stonehill and Dan Peak (ex-America). Since that time Phil has released ‘Holy Warrior’, and ‘On the Inside’. He also has songs included on four other album projects.

Phil has played his music in festivals, clubs, cafes, pubs, community events, and on tours across Australia and other nations. He has performed in the USA, Canada, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, India, Nepal, Germany, Russia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. One show in Nepal was televised to 15 Asian countries, and one of Phil’s songs, ‘Infidel’ from his first album, ‘First Light’ was a hit in Papua New Guinea. In Australia, “Company’ and ‘Forgiven’ received widespread radio and television play.

These days, Phil most often performs as a duo with his wife Naomi J. He plans to form a new band in the near future.
